disAbility Resource Center, dRC, is a community based, non-profit, non residential program that provides free services to persons with disabilities. dRC is dedicated to assisting all persons regardless of disability in making choices about their own lives and in experiencing success as active participants in society.

The majority of our staff and board of directors are people with disabilities.

We serve people with disabilities and their families and/or caregivers primarily in New Hanover and Brunswick Counties.

The mission of the disAbility Resource Center (dRC) is to maximize choices and opportunities for individuals with disabilities in New Hanover and Brunswick Counties, and to support their full inclusion in community life through peer counseling, independent living skills training, systems and individual advocacy, and information and referral
